what colors?

what colors should i paint this? atm its an ink drawing i did a couple years ago, i want to paint something and this is what ive chosen to paint..

in my head i cant picture anything that really goes well together.. i was thinking making her rather pale white, the swirls like a blue and the background a faded red but thats too red/white/blue for me.. then i thought making the swirls green like vine or something and a blue background.. but idk..

the background will be like a splash, not a full solid color, so.. yeah.. halp!

That's cool. You could keep that black and white, but only do color in the background. Like maybe do a background that's forresty or ivy, etc, but one black and white vine that is growing from the ground and it is the vine caging the woman.

Kind of like the vine that takes away the color from your life. Once it cages you, your world also become black and white.
